The line work was created by scoring and grooving out layers of the acrylic paint with an x-acto blade, revealing details of the album cover art. The process is sort of a metaphor for excavating.


In this piece, I was thinking about writing my last name in a scripted style in one continuous line. It worked out for the most part.
